Porscheman
This is Polar Lights Spiderman Bettle. It was molded in red, so I primed it in Tamiya's white primer and then applied 3 coats Testors Brilliant Pink lacquer and 3 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. The interior was done in the Pink with Semi-gloss black 2 tone and I smoked the windows using Tamiya Clear Smoke. All paint was appied out of rattle cans. I lowered the suspension to give a a nice stance with a nice set of after market wheels. I had a lot of trouble with fit, it was one of the most difficult snap kit I ever done. The overall look of the model is very nice though. Thanks for looking. Al

Porscheman
Thanks everyone. I bought these wheels at NNL East a couple of years ago and just couldn't find the right car for them. They fit the wheel wells on the VW perfectly IMO. Harry I saw the wipers after I took the pictures, but it take me so long to get up and down the stairs now I thought I could let it slide. I did remember the mirrors though. Al Edited July 26, 2014 by Porscheman

PatW
Superb looking Beetle! I also had fit problem when putting wheels like this on a Beetle some years ago. I cut the rear wings off and added a narrow strip of plasticard onto the body and re-attached the wings, plus a little filler. The car sat lower still after that! Porscheman
Thanks again everyone. This is a full detail snap kit with opening hood and trunk, but with the fit issues I decided to glue everything closed. Al
