I'm not sure if Johan ever made a '65 Coronet. I'm assuming this is an original issue AMT '65 Coronet.

Chassis is attached by screws in the rear only.

Blower opening in hood does not appear to have cut out by the builder and has 4 engraved hood pins.

This was in a box of model parts that were given to me about 30 years ago.

I am still digging through some of the parts, main item I hope to find is the firewall.

Thanks

That is the AMT kit, which was at least marketed by AMT Corporation for MPC (who created the tooling) in that year. JoHan never produced a model kit or promotional model of this subject.

Thanks Art and Dan for verifying this as an AMT kit and some of the kit history.

I found the instructions for it on the Drastic Plastics Fotki site and downloaded them.

Thanks again..

Andy, you learn something new everyday here on this forum

I checked the Modelhaus site and they have the bumper, stock hood and tail lights available. I need to find a firewall and radiator support & radiator.

I've plenty of time to find the parts before I attempt to restore this. my building skills need to greatly improve.
