1957 58 59 Fords & Edsels - Who Cares To Share What They Have In Their Collection?

OK - no one else seems to want to do this, so I'll put forth the challenge. There seems to be a few guys here who really enjoy the Ford products from 1957 thru 1959 inclusively. So why not showcase these cars ( and trucks even?? ) on one easy to find thread? Even the younger set can appreciate the timeless lines and beauty of these cars from a better era when life was more simple and the music ws a whole lot better. I, for one, look forward to the inspiration and motivation that looking at some else's build ups and projects can give. Regardless of what you see your personal skill level as, why not show us what you have because in model building, the best builds are the builds where the person doing the project simply does his/her best. Let's go with no age limitations as this thread should be meant to encourage others regardless of any perceived imperfections thatthe most critical eye can see in the build. Keep the comments polite and positive as they usually are on this site and sit back and see what others have accomplished.. Maybe the moderators will allow some photos of the finished product during its creation - Let the curtain rise and the cavalcade of the late 50's vintage classic beauty queens begin..

Lot of great looking stuff already!! While my '58 is in the works & my '59 is still at least a few days out. I'll be the first to throw a '59 Edsel into the mix. I'll wait with the '57 until the Del Rio comes out! ;) steve

I bought this two months ago. I'm going to rebuild it soon when I get a couple of my current projects finished. I'm planning to build it as a Mild Custom.

Boy, I'll bet Gary didn't think about the great big can of Tulio worms he was about to open when he started this topic! They're all beautiful Tulio! I especially like the old AMT '57s. I'd really like to build one of those again someday, but something else always seems to take precedence. Steve

 Really love them '57 Fords!! Can you say?

I have an ongoing project of building one Custom Tudor in every single color Ford offered in 1957. I'm not building them one after the other, but when I see one of the Revell kits I get it. have 10 unbuilt, and one on the way as payment for a '58 Plymouth build i'm on right now...

I'm doing a resto on the second model I built as a kid - The old AMT Unreal Edsel. I can't figure out how to post a pic in reply mode, so I'll leave you guys in suspense for a while.

Simple Randy. just go to the bottom of the page & click on "More Reply Options". The next page that comes up will have a section @ the bottom that says "Browse". Just click on that & it will take you to your own computer files where you can choose from your photos. double click on the photo you want & it will download them to the forum page. Then just click on "Attach This File" & it will be included in your post. :) Steve

Lots of gorgeous builds in this thread. Here's the only one I have done at the moment I can add. It's the Revell '57 kit with Morgan Automotive Detail resin Fordor body. Color is Cumberland Green.
