  1. That casting looks really nice! How are you going to address the wheels?
  2. I am really diggin' that '29 roadster - sweet little hotrod!!
  3. I use bendy straws... simple, quick, no mess...
  4. It's grey resin. Not sure when it was cast, but it has a copyright date of 1995 stamped inside the body.
  5. Gregg, what every a did seemed to do the trick, the board has been "remembering" me since - thanx!
  6. Ditto what Bill said - fantastic stuff!
  7. My resin part went flying across the room, so I made a base from some scrap plastic, then attached the supplied p.e. gate, and added some Grandt Line styrene bolts. I just hope it won't be totally hidden once the body is on with the windscreen in place.
  8. if an LX kit does appear, I hope it is correct. Correct engine bay, trim, and please make correct LX tail lights...
  9. that's different....but I kinda like it! Nice build!
  10. It does it here too. I use Firefox for this and some other sites, and let Firefox remember the user/pass for this site. Couple clicks and I'm good to go.
  11. Lookin good!
  12. I thought that kit was a curbside...
  13. Nice work!! Still waiting to for my wally to get one...
  14. I remember that from the HH board. It's a great build, and I'm still diggin' it!
  15. I hope Leon does revive Cobra Colors at some point, since the paints were a joy to use...also because I procrasticated and didn't order the paint for my Miura before he closed up shop
  16. Nice work on a subject not seen very often, if at all!
  17. Thanx Dave!! This is a kit that I wasn't super excited about, but after seeing what's in the box, I'm definitely gonna pick one up. Of course, I'll have to find a flathead to drop in it...
  18. That turned out great!! The color, the moon caps and wide whites, I'm diggin it!!
  19. Like Bill said, if you're happy with it as-is, don't worry about it. Some cars get polished, some get cleared, some get cleared an polished, but occasionally, I get lucky and put down a nice looking paintjob right from the can. This '65 Corvette is Tamiya Italian Red, no clear, rubbed with Novus plastic polish #2: This Deuce is PPG Ford Sonic Blue Pearl with PPG clear, rubbed with Novus #2: And this old Woody is Tamiya TS-14 Black, right from the can, no rubbing, no clear: I'm happy with how each of them turned out, but they all took different approaches to to get there.
  20. That's just evil lookin' - cool build!
  21. that is a beautiful build of a beautiful subject - very nice work!!
  22. Very nice Bill!!
  23. Thanx for the info!
  24. That looks great!! What did you use on the seats?
  25. I really enjoyed building the '40 coupe, and have the Pro-Modeller convertible in the pile. Revell really did a nice job on these kits!
