Wow,you guys make me feel guilty. I have a nicely finished 10x13' room that's insulated,has a skylight,heat and AC,and speakers for music. I work on an old 4x6' drafting table. I do small painting in there,with bigger jobs in the basement. So how come I'm not building more?

Seems to happen everywhere. There used to be a hobby shop in Indianapolis . It was there for 30 years or so. They had model cars,trains,planes,boats,and paints and all the goodies. Sometime in the 70's ,the owner,who was getting up to retirement years,sold the place to a younger guy who evidently didn't care that much about the hobby,but making a buck. He would sell things,but sometimes would never reorder the stock. He went under after a few years. Really too bad.

I can go ahead and start this for you. What kind of car is the 'baby' going to be? Do you want this in a black and white line drawing or do you want shading? Not a big deal either way. Is it OK if I do it on the computer and email it to you? Or do you need actual paper and ink? That will take longer.

Poor lil' things. I feel sorry for the owners. Hope they catch these guys.

I've built shocks and hydraulic rams from Plastruc tubing. Never tried brass,although I would like to someday.
