Ford Bronco prerunner
BLOODBANE replied to Dezracer's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Your fenders look great. Really close. I have fiberglass fenders on my Ranger and as I say yours are close to the real thing. -
Nice work on the 'Stang and sorry to hear about your medical issues. I do at home dialysis and while not as bad as your cancer, still a PITA. Keep a positive attitude (as you know) and if we can help, let us know.

Same here. I have a 87 TinTop and this is the closest I have found to matching it...Yours looks super. Nice, nice work. -
Watching this one. I have an unbuilt Giant Tracks Chevy (the yellow one with a camper shell), but not sure if I want to even build it. I built the one you have back when I was kid, which is what got me to find the Giant Track version (I built it as well when I was younger). All my kit is lacking is the decals and it would be 100%. I seem to have a lot of motivation to start and then that stalls out and Im left with a half built kit. Maybe seeing what you do with yours will motivate me to get off my duff (hind end)...

This is soooo cool. All I can say is thank you....

New Bronco half cab available
BLOODBANE replied to vintagercr's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
These are nice as well as the fender flairs will be super. Any chance of a lifted suspension (4"/6"/8" scale) for these. I can do them as Im very familiar with the suspension, but a already made kit would be nice. Not to be pushing. LOL -
Looks great from here. I always like machinery like this. I could never build them to look decent, but always liked them...

I just picked up the revell Giant Tracks, 1/16th Chevy pickup. Been watching for one to come up that wouldnt break the bank. I built a couple of them as a kid and really wanted to get another, now that my patients is a lot better. Worst part is it will probably sit in the stash and never get built (I have a few High Rollers, some snap tite ford pickups as well)

They both are super cool, but that restored one ROCKS. I would go that way myself.....BUT the stock, working version is neat as well.

They are fun, simple kits. I have enjoyed building them. yours looks nice.

That dash looks amazing. I had a 73, 1:1, back in the day and I remembering looking at that dash (a lot).... -
The fourth pedal to the far left is the parking brake pedal. You are doing a great build on this one. keep up the updates...

Im currently building this one as well. My difference is I took some out of the bed. It just looked too long in the stock form (building the C cab as the hot rod version). On the stock version, my rear wheels set a little too close to the rear fenders for my liking, so I will have to do a little modding to move them back a bit. Overall, its a pretty decent model, without many fitment issues (the front suspension can be a little tricky on the hot rod version).

Late 70s Ford truck grille?
BLOODBANE replied to iamsuperdan's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
The grill pictured is for 76-77. The 73 -75 had different centers. They had the round headlights, but no bezel (square) arond them. the center went all the way to the light itself. the square headlights were used on the 78-79 years. I had a 73 Highboy (4x4, 3/4 ton) that I partially restored. -
If you could only choose ONE photo of any of your builds, wich would it be?
BLOODBANE replied to JAFFA's topic in Model Cars
Heres mine.... compared to the real thing... -
Nice build. These cars are kinda special to me. I had a 69 GT when I was in High School. Wish I still had it

Vey cool. Gave me a good chuckle with the minion....

Got to add that it is the original packaging that makes most toys valuable. I have some Star Wars stuff thats worth a bit because the plastic clamshell it came in is undamaged (I know star wars is different from hot Wheels). Its almost the same with guns. I have some nice rifles and the nicest one, I didnt save the box. Its still worth a bit, but would have been worth more with it (it is a gun I will never fire)

Very cool concept. Im glad on the other hand that they didnt make these in 1:1. We have a 2014 challenger and seeing yours, I could only imaging the blind spot on this car (the Challenger has a terrible blind spot on it, sucks when backing out of parking places). I love the car on everything else. Keep up the great work....
