I think this is the one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-Forklift-Truck-Construction-Vehicle-Metal-Diecast-Model-Toy-Gift-Yellow/323636970968?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D225086%26meid%3D11163626d49d40cdac2181d3b75623ec%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dco%26sd%3D113769122704%26itm%3D323636970968%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv5PairwiseWeb%26brand%3DUnbranded&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 I had another loader in a 2016 salvage yard diorama. I sold it with my entire collection but now looking for it again.

Coming along nicely! Keep us posted. -
Found it on eBay. I'm working on an accompanying junk yard scene that will use built models.
-
Outstanding! I'm impressed with your scratch-building skills. Nice phots throughout your project too.

Jo Han Studebaker Lark restoration....sorta..
Shambles replied to thatz4u's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Looks good so far, but you've got your work cut out! Is that an old JoHan model? -
These are all die cast models... hope yall don't mind. I'm planning another salvage yard diorama using built models.
-
Impressive. If I'd only seen the photos, I'd have thought it was real!

At 68, my eyes and hands just won't do what they used to do. Dammit! It's inspiring to see beautiful work like yours.

Hey, Dr.Kerry. So you noticed that Ford huh? ?.I thought about doing period-correct dioramas, but decided to make it more about classic performance cars. My first dioramas with kit built cars was Shambles Performance Salvage.
-
Thanks for asking and thanks for the compliments. Ain't been building many models lately while concentrating on the diorama and a back story to go along with it. The story is a little risqué for some forums, so I've got it on my website @ https://www.shamblesmodels.com/blog-index.html. Those are all West Coast Precision 1:24 die cast models. I've added a Shambles Performance Salvage shop and fleet to the diorama and having a blast doing it! I design and print the decals for the signs and vehicles and mess around with Photoshop for backgrounds and other stuff. I'm updating my site gradually each day. I'd be flattered if yall would check it out.

Same here. I don't remember the cars, but I sho' remember her! ?

Dang! I'd forgotten about Black Sabbath. I was a huge fan, if I remember correctly? -
Monogram Darrell Waltrip Yellow/White 83 Pepsi Challenger
Shambles replied to sflam123's topic in WIP: NASCAR
I've built a lot of NASCAR kits over the years. You did a good job! I was always a Darrel Waltrip fan. -
I could give it a try, but when you scan in a small image and enlarge it, it loses resolution and becomes pixelated. I think Gary was going to send me the 1:32 kit decals which wouldn't require as much enlargment. John

A gaggle of Corvettes 1 new, Bunch older. revised
Shambles replied to Peter Lombardo's topic in Model Cars
I'm a Corvette enthusiast (real and scale) and love it! Very nice work. I've built dozens of kits (mostly stock) and have 30+ DM, FM, and Exoto die cast Corvettes in my current collection. -
14th Annual 24 HRS of Daytona Build - Tamiya GTR (R34)
Shambles replied to Jhedir6's topic in Model Cars
I'm a fan of weathering. I watched a lot of the 24 hr Rolex and the cars look like that when they finish. Nice job! -
Looking good, Paul. Don't let dioramas consume you like they have me!
-
Love it! Watching 24 hr at Daytona as I type.

My late, younger brother found this glue bomb '72 Corvette convertible at a yard sale. We were both into models all of our lives and he wanted me to "save" this one. This was 25 years ago and it's a little sentimental for me. I'm a Corvette enthusiast (http://www.shamblesmodels.com/real-cars.html) and my first one was a '72 coupe. I don't remember exactly what this model looked like when I got it, and I don't have any before photos, but here's the after photos:
-
Outstanding! Excellent work.

Pretty much got the garage and showroom set up. Got my HP LaserJet M254dw in so I can do decals with a white underlay for dark models (like that black Sedan Delivery). I'll be doing some weekly variations. Here's this weeks:

I've got 11 or 12 of these '64 WCPD Chevys, so what better way to show 'em off than at Shambles Performance Motors car lot? I put the hubcaps and fender skirts in the trunk for those being unloaded. That's the way the 1:1s came.
