  1. Didn't know he did one, wonder if that's where I got the idea?
  2. That's a good price!
  3. I'd bet their lacquer primer will be recommended. I did talk to my boss on friday about these paints, we will be carrying them at the St. Charles, Illinois HobbyTown when they become available
  4. It's one of those things that has bugged me for about a decade now, I guess the kid of a former "Custom Rodder" editor did some of the art for the cartoon too.
  5. I was going to build the current AMT reissue as a "Wooden Utility Truck" (basically a "WUT")but screwed it up and I'm going to start again when Revell's 30 comes out.
  6. Hope we get one at work!
  7. These look interesting, I'll have to ask if we'll be getting them at work or maybe at the local Hobby Lobby too. I also have to wonder how well they'll work on lexan, I've had good luck with their multimpart system on RC car bodies.
  8. The black wheels, in a like color with the gray paint!
  9. The shop got them through Horizon Hobby, the HTU part number (which should work on Horizon's web site too) is MMI12014 and the offical description is Minicraft Model Kits Military Aviation Bullet Hole Decals.
  10. Could work on a variety of models...............................
  11. ROFL! I thought this was about "spinner" hubcaps as in "spinner" rims style! Maybe I need some sleep!
  12. Beats me, I thought they were airbags for the front suspension until I actually read the instructions!
  13. I can't wait to see how this one looks when you're done!
  14. Holy smokes that looks evil, what color were you going to paint it? I'm voting for black or charcoal!
  15. I saw this one on a non-model related board too, I nearly started drooling on the keyboard at work when I saw it! I'm hoping we can get one in stock, although it may last as long on the shelf as the L700 (never made it past the cash register to the shelf) and '49 Merc Kustoms (spent maybe 20 min on the shelf) did
  16. WOW! Come to think of it, I was wondering where the guys who drew the vehicle for the "Batman" cartoons got their insperation for the medium and heavy duty delivery vehicles.
  17. I've ordered a couple through work and we've gotten them both through Stevens International (IIRC StevensHobbies.com, but don't hold me to that.)
  18. I just picked one up at work the other day, the kit never even made it to the shelf The manager/owner told me he knew I'd buy it if he showed it to me...................I must be pretty predictable, or considering his last profession, Cop's Intuition:rolleyes:
