Yikes! My attempt at decaling failed miserably. They simply fell apart. What a disappointment. I haven't destroyed the whole set just yet. Can anybody direct me to a decal guy that might be able to help me recover my kit?

Many years ago, already, I did a wheel alignment on the actual Feinstein Cobra for a vintage event at Road America. I had no idea that it was the Essex Wire car too. Lots-o-history there.

The amount was $68.00 and the transaction happened on May 22 via PayPal........A message was sent to him through the PayPal system and I requested my money back. Let's see what happens now. I'll keep you all updated.

Yikes.......I was afraid I might get this reaction. I believe I payed via PayPal. I think they have ways to deal with things like this. Then there's always the State Bureau of Consumer Protection. Maybe the State of Wisconsin will motivate the guy.

Or should I say, "Unreliable" Resin...... I ordered a resin body kit from Don last April or May. I was told six weeks for delivery after payment. An email to the guy was sent out 4-5 weeks ago and at that time, he responded that he took up a real job because he couldn't live on his resin business. He also said that he had some time and a two week window to catch up on his orders. Fair enough, but, I haven't heard anything back from the guy since and he hadn't responded to my numerous email messages. There's an address but no phone number on his web site. There's got to be someone out there who has some experience dealing with him.......Did I just get screwed for $60?

I really like the group or collection..........I'm in the process of something similar. A group of five USAC Stock Cars from 1969. A pair of Don White and Butch Hartman Dodges. A Norm Nelson Plymouth and a Jack Bowser and a Dick Trickle Ford.

I want to build a 1969 Bud Moore Trans Am Mustang with the Fred Cady decals I recently acquired. There are 1970 Boss 302 Mustang kits available. My question is.......How different are the two years? Are they similiar enough to make an adequate representation of a 69 Bud Moore car? Peace and love, (hippie lingo) Jack

I talked to the gentleman at Wheels Wings and Waves earlier today. He cleared up my questions as to the color I was seeking, and I placed my order. Thank you MCM.

According to their web site, one of the colors I'm seeking crosses over on the spray can chart as two numbers. My question is which one is correct? Rather than exchange several letters via snail mail, I requested a phone number from them. I clicked on the "paint" order form only to find a fax number. No business phone number. I know I had the correct order form as there was "no resin" printed on it in bold letters. At the bottom of this form, there's an "Email" link and I clicked on that, and my phone number request was sent to Dave, the resin guy, apparently by mistake.

How do I contact MCW to order some paint. I found their website and what I need. So, how can a guy contact them? They don't allow email orders. According to their order form, they do accept phone orders, but I can only find a fax number on the site. I don't have access to a fax machine. (Isn't that pretty much old, outdated technology?) And, they haven't responded to my emails......Is the only way to contact these guys snail mail? Jeez....that could take weeks! Is there any other place I can go to get the colors I need?

I'm building a kit were I need to accurately match up a paint line with a decal. I'm considering placing the decals first, so I can locate the paint line correctly. (Would be BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH near impossible to mask the line and paint before laying the decal and have it line up right.) My concern is, how do I keep from pulling up the decal when I remove the masking tape? Should I clear coat the decal first? Will that prevent the decal from pulling up? Might there be any suggestions?
