  1. A few kits that, to me, should be ripe for an easy reissue, hopefully this year or soon: MPC 1981 Chevy Chevette MPC 1982 Chevy Cavalier MPC 1974 Dodge Charger MPC 1988 Pontiac Fiero MPC 1932 Chevrolet roadster MPC 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner MPC Chevy Corvette "Mako Shark" (last issued as "Custom Corvette") MPC Chevy Corvette "Vette Van" MPC Pinto Pro-Stock MPC "The Grand Superfly" Pontiac AMT Chevy van "open road camper" AMT AMC Matador "X" custom AMT American LaFrance pumper fire truck ERTL International F-4270 truck ERTL International F-2575 truck ERTL International F-2674 truck
  2. I should have added; in a Canadian catalog. Dunno about the USA catalogs. I also think that its first issue included a battery-powered electric motor to make the engine vibrate and fan turns, and working headlights.
  3. I remember that particular issue of that kit being available in Eaton's Christmas catalog of 1975 (or maybe 1974 or 1976, might have been Sears's)
  4. 3 Chevies; I'd dare to say one of them is gonna be a 46-47-48 Chevy convertible, and then 2 new versions of their earlies Novas. 4 Mercurys: I'd again dare to say they are gonna be the 1964 Comet, 1971 Comet, 1965 Mercury pickup and 1967 Mercury pickup 4x4. 6 Fords; I'd say 2 versions of the 1971 Ford Maverick, a 1-ton dump truck, and 3 new versions of 1-ton Ford trucks. There is a very very faint possibility that they are gonna do a 1974ish Mercury Grand-Marquis and 1978 or so Chevy Impala, as seen on the background of their 1968 Mercury pickup box art?
  5. Does anyone have a scanned copy of the plans for MPC 1/12 TNT snowmobile? That kit was issued in the early 1970s. There was an earlier version of that kit; Nordic 371, but there is differences between them. I have an old glue-bomb of that TNT snowmobile that I am trying to restore, and need the specific plans for it. I wonder if there is a chance of that kit being reissued?
  6. Will there be more versions available at a later date? I recall a discussion here(?) a few years ago about a 46-47-48 convertible. Personnaly, I'd want a 2-doors town-sedan. But I'll get the coupe and aerosedan when they becomes available.
  7. There was talks a few years ago of a convertible version of that kit. Any news about that? Personnaly, I'd LOVE to get a 2-doors town-sedan version of that kit. Pinto KING
  8. Great! Great! GREAT!!!! So happy about this! Now if Moebius would make a town-sedan body for those..... PintoKING
  9. Is there any 1958-59 Chevrolet 3-tons or 5-tons trucks, cab only, in 3d print?
  10. Oh, how I'd LOVE to get the '58-'59 Chevy pickup!! (from Round2's 55-57 Chevy Cameo-Stepside)
  11. You meant this one? I'd like to get it too! BUT I'd be EXTREMELY surprised if round2 would produce it. I personally believe that a more modern excavator would be more profitable to kit. If ever. But in the meantime, may I recommend this youtube video about a DIY scale modern excavator:
  12. I sure hope they gonna do the '74-'77 Comets and Mavericks too! But still very very happy to get the '71-'73s (small bumpers)
  13. 1-9-6-4 Mercury COMET from Moebius???
  14. Humm...... The AMT Plymouth MoPower funnycar, seems that it has a very similar chassis-engine to AMT's "Nitro-Charger" funnycar? That Nitro-Charger is the second or third model kit that I bought, back in the mid 1970s. Still have it.
  15. Of those, in my humble opinion, I'd say that the MPC '74 Charger and MPC '72 Road Runner would be the most probable reissues, then the MPC "Vette Van", MPC "Custom Corvette" (ex Mako-Shark II) and MPC Pontiac Fiero. And since Round2 has reissued all the AMT big rigs recently (exept their Kenworth T600 and Canepa), they are left with the ERTL Internationals F-2575, F-2674 and F-4270 that haven't been reissued in a loooonnng time.
  16. That Revell "Can Do" towing sure is MORE than ripe for a reissue!!! Come-on, Revell!
  17. Sure would be nice if AMT would include the stock building option with their '66 Barracuda Hemi Hustler. I doubt they would, but who knows?
  18. That Saturn-V rocket, It looks like it is a 4D-master (or Aoshima) kit, 1/100 scale. Seems they also did the Space Shuttle, in 1/72 scale seen on that video.
  19. Speaking of old vintage kits; I wonder what happened to Palmer molds. It is my understanding that Palmer (and Pyro) ended up with Lindberg, as per that youtube video: And since Lindberg is now Round2, and seems Round2 sold a bunch of old molds to Atlantis.....
  20. Is it the same top for both of those 1965?
  21. Any news or rumors on what Round2 is gonna reissue next year? Here's my list of possibilities: MPC: 1971 Mercury Montego (stock) 1978 Chevette 1984(?) Ford EXP Corvette Mako-Shark II (back to "stock" from the "Custom Corvette") Corvette Cosma-Ray show car Corvette Vette-Van 1982(?) Chevrolet Cavalier 1978(?) Chevrolet Monza 1932 Chevrolet roadster (with street rod option) 1970 Pontiac GTO 1971 Plymouth Road-Runner 1974 Dodge Charger any year Pontiac Fiero 1974 Plymouth Baracuda Pro-Street 1982 Corvette "Superfly" 1972(?) Pontiac Grand-Prix 1978 Mustang Cobra (with Pro-Stock options) 1978 Ford Pinto hatchback (with Pro-Stock options) 1968-69 Chevrolet Impala IMC/Testors: "Love Machine" - "Super Van" (custom van by Georges Barris) "Miss Budweiser" drag race boat 1966 (?) Ford GT-40 Avenger GT-12 (kit car based on VW beetle) Dodge Cabover truck (this is a ghost kit, but we never know...) AMT: "Farah's Foxy Vette" Corvette (based on Eckler's Corvette) Ford 6-wheels van Econoline Chevy van camper (with raised top and full interior) AMC Matador "X" Dodge Deora (last edition) 1967-68 Ford Galaxie 1957 Chevy Nomad 1/16 American Lafrance pumper fire truck There is also ERTL's Internationals trucks F-4270, F-2575 and F-2674, all ripe for reissues!
  22. A few old Renwal catalogs: https://boxartden.com/collections/gallery/index.php/Vintage-Model-Kit-Catalogs-1950-1999/Renwal
  23. Sure would be nice for it to be reissued as as Police/taxi!
  24. Speaking of Revell's 2024 kits; what about they reissue their fantastic Peterbuilt 3-axles "can do" tow-truck; it sure is ripe for a reisue! https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-7541-peterbilt-wrecker--122635 Their "Marmon" truck would also be nice to be reissued. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-07429-marmon-conventional--765244 I sure do hope that there's gonna be other versions of their new 1985 Blazer; like a regular pickup with 8-foot fleetside bed!
  25. I wonder if Moebius plan to do a Mercury version of their 64-66 Ford pickups also. That sure would be very nice!
