  1. Great print job Zip,,,that should build up real nice!
  2. Looks good Gary ,,,yeah a lot of 3D parts don't seem true to scale,,,I ran into that with the Autocar wrecker build
  3. The DOHC Hemi only came in the AMT Prostreet Bee kit
  4. Might be Grant ,,they made custom steering wheels and accessories back in the day
  5. ...........got all the glass cut from Evergreen sheet and installed , I made some A-pillar spot lights from parts bin stuff and brass and aluminum and made the package shelf mounted red flashers ,dash is done , made sorta an old school Motorola radio with the parts DJ sent me and mounted the shotgun ,made a report light and nailed it on top of the dash .
  6. A little more progress....BMF done....... grille and taillights painted and installed , started assembly of the 440 and cobbled up a dual snorkel air cleaner thought I had a Fred Cady air cleaner decal but I must have used them all,,had to improvise on that. Made headrests for the bench seat ,started on the dash,,from what pics I've found online most are black dash with blue seats but a lot of other combos out there correct or not thats what I'm going with .Fireball wheels/tires and hub caps done .Might start on the windows tomorrow. I also remembered that the 71 Duster kit had the Airtemp A/C compressor so I have that to fit on the 440
  7. Thanks Francis ! Hit the grille and bumpers today with Revell Chrome,, in the dehydrator now then detail the grille with Argent Silver
  8. Thanks Brian,, yeah DJMar had some nice radios and a shotgun in his parts stash,,,on the way! Thanks again DJ !
  9. Shot the color,,,(ok black and white) ,decaled and hit with clear ,,some faint 3D print lines are visible which I didn't see with primer but showed with the black mostly on the hood. Next will be some BMF and make the glass with the bucks
  10. With the "bucks" (templates) supplied by the 3D printer ,it wasn't that bad using Evergreen sheet clear styrene,,,,propably a more complex shape window would need to be vacu-formed
  11. Whose all going? I plan on it,,probably bring the FDNY wrecker and the S&M Dodge D-700 hauler .
  12. Not on this one,,I guess if you had a windshield or back glass with compound curves you would need to
  13. The kit printer included "bucks" for the glass ,which I used for templates with Evergreen clear sheet styrene and glued in from the outside with canopy glue
  14. Thanks Francis,,it was my 1st attempt at a 3D print build (other than the FDNY Mack Wrecker with Karl's GSMT cab kit) the good points outweigh the bad,,I'm finding out that old school kitbashing styrene and 3D printed resin stuff works out pretty good! Like the 69 Polara I'm doing !
  15. OR............do what KW is doing with some of the last W-900's ,,,installing X-15's but painting them old school Cummins Beige !
  16. Nice build Gary,,good to see ya back in the groove and all,,, a 903 would be pretty cool!
  17. Brian your a freakin' wildman! lol,,, very very nice bro! ,don't forget the shop guy with the laptop checking ECM codes!
  18. Super nice day today in the 80's ! Cleaned up the yard a bit.........some more progress on the cruiser ,body prep-added side spear moldings ,shoot some primer tomorrow,,,chassis is now the proper wheelbase
