Working 11 hour days gets old but I can get time on Saturdays. Some times 8-10 hours other times not for two weeks. As they say"it is what it is" It all about relaxing and injoying the build.

Grand Prix the Killer Years
C.C.RACER replied to 935k3's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
If you take a look at the cars from back then you have a understanding of why some things happend. That show is great. Good to see cars and the racing from back in the day. To bad we lost drivers at to young of age. To drive those cars as fast as they did required HUGE ____ (fill in the blank) It was the best times for innovation and the worst times for safty. It's lucky we did not lose more drivers then we did. I love watching all forms of Racing but F1 is my fav. -

Well I guess Ill go next. I been a ghost on the board for over a year and 1/2 just looking and watching. My user name is a combo from when I was a much younger man. I always drank the same thing(Canadian Club) and my bartender started calling me C C.and it stuck. As far as the "racer" It something I do to keep out of trouble. Im blessed to have a VERYunderstanding wife(Thanks Dear) As far as a avatar Im not computer skilled enough to make it work. Waiting on my kid to help me.LOL -

How Many Kits Make a Good Stash?
C.C.RACER replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I am a lucky man as I have two "man caves" to work out of. My "stash" is about 400-500 kits and over a 100 sheets of decals. Im a sucker for them. So many great cars to build and Slixx has a ton of them. Also have to many parts in too many box,s. Oh ya and have 5 model boxs of just engines of all types. I got it bad. Is there a cure? I dont know..... -

Dropping parts
C.C.RACER replied to SuperStockAndy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Heres my way of helping find that lost part. I have a appron mounted under the edge of my table and drap it over my lap when working. I can get up and not rip it off as it is not attched to me. It is longer on the sides to drap over my chair and drops in the middle and creates a vally for parts to fall into. -
