  1. I've been fortunate to see most of these builds in the plastic, they are just as special Have a good Christmas Brett, looking forward to your builds next year.
  2. Nice work John, I particularly like the drag cars and the '37 Chevy looks great in white.
  3. Very nice James, great detail
  4. I joined the forum this time last year and thank you all for inspiring me to improve my skills. This is what I got up to during the year. Happy Holidays to everyone.
  5. Made some progress on the '32, got the roof painted in Tamiya Light Blue Pearl and dullcoted. Chassis is Tamiya Dark Blue Metallic, same colour as body etc will be, when the weather improves and it stops raining here . Engine and chassis almost finished too, hope to get the model completed before I head off to Canada for Xmas to see my family.
  6. Awesome job Thor - at first I thought it was 1/8 scale 'cos that engine is incredible
  7. Great variety of cars here, I too keep coming back. A couple more for you, the altered was built about 10 years ago and is fully wired and plumbed (getting too old to do that now ). The funny car is out of the box and was built about the same time.
  8. Got theJag up on four wheels yesterday - the fronts aren't as big as they appear! Not sure about that tiny fan/propellor??? Will have to wait a couple of days before another clearcoat and then polishing.
  9. When you drop it to the ground, the wheels/tyres will be way up in the wheelhouse, which may mean that the front openings would have to be enlarged to allow for steering. OK, I know its only a model (or bagged ) but I prefer smaller wheels at the front as in your first picture IMHO
  10. They should be cool builds Andy, Thanks to you, I now have a Heller Delahaye that I might have to add If only I were a prolific builder! BTW, what is the hardtop on black fenders in the background, the one with Bugatti/Delahaye styling cues?
  11. I'm a fan of big wheels too, but I think the fronts are too big for the car (never thought I'd say that )
  12. The B400 is almost ready for primer. Had to make a mounting for the kit firewall out of sheet plastic and filled a couple of pinholes, but maybe get some paint on her over the weekend. Also cut the floor and bulkhead from the interior bucket to adapt it to the kit floorpan. Might have been a bit overenthusiastic joining 3 CBP's but it keeps me at the workbench
  13. Update on the Jag, rear suspension finished but quite tricky to put together. Got some black flocking on the floorpan and hope to make more progress this weekend.
  14. Good luck with the bidding Nice work on the chassis Michael
  15. I hope it's on another slow boat, to give us chance to catch up Got some pearl clear on the Jag today, and started on the suspension
  16. I have a couple of builds that haven't been posted on this forum so I'm up for it
  17. I built this mid-year but never got round to posting it. Minor kitbashing, engine is from the 5-window, wheels from the sedan and photoetch details from Model Car Garage. Paint as usual is from Tamiya, Racing White and USAF Tan interior.
  18. I'm with the others on the V8, Patami. Awesome work on the interior Michael, especially the dash
  19. Like what I see so far Patami. I have built one of the Audi DTM kits, that engine should be cool in your Volvo . The Audi kit was awesome, highly recommended Jonathan, hope the Merc is as good.
