Quickie build last Fall. Yes, it's the SnapTite but looks nice in a case on the shelf. Testors Inca Gold with Tamyia Pearl Clear Pegasus Gold/Chrome Vantage wheels Spent some extra time to get the headlight glass flush, the kit has them recessed. Just need to trim them off the one-piece molded assembly and install from the top instead of the bottom.

What would you say were the best car models released during 2014? To make this topic somewhat less of a free for all, please limit your comments to Model Car (not truck) Kits that: Were released and available for sale during 2014 Are 1/25 or 1/24 scale Contain no resin, machined metal or photo etch parts Build only one model per kit - no double or triple kits Were priced at MSRP under USD $40 Kindly limit your "best" nominations to no more than 3 kits If you could please elaborate why you are nominating these models it would be appreciated. I was just looking around the Tower Hobbies website when I spied an entry for a 2014 Corvette Stingray, due late December of 2014! I know nothing more about it except the suggested retail is $15.95.

Once again 3 Rivers Automodelers will be holding their annual Model Show and Contest at Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Hall located on RT.88, 3600 Library Road, Castle Shannon, PA 15234 (Pittsburgh). Contest and show will be held on SUNDAY< SEPTEMBER 28, 2014 from 9am till 3pm. Admission is $5 and children under 12 are free with an adult. Contest Registration is $2 a model.
