Hi! I'm partial to the 1966 to 1972 Detroit designs, because that's when cars stopped to be "boxy" and squarish, and fell under the influence of Bill Mitchell (GM), Eugene Bordinat (Ford) and Dick Teague (AMC), and in a lesser way Elwood Engel at Chrysler. . Just thing about the outpouring of spectacular designs in those 7 years, just before the 5mph bumpers ruined everything. Oh well... So: an MPC Nascar Mercury Cyclone body, with blown modular engine from a Revell Mach 3 concept glue bomb, rolling stock & bucket seats from Dodge Sidewinder concept, and front & rear suspensions from Foose FD100, Dash from 20?? Mustang, all modified. Scratchbuilt floorpan, radiator panel, hood hinge & scoop, firewall, rear bulkhead & shelf, tunnel, door panels, console, pedals, roll-bar, gas tank and a few more items. Custom purple nail polish finish cleared with Mr. Hobby Top coat, Tamya's Gunmetal on chassis, Craftsmart Fog grey interior, BMF, Molotow & Revell spray chrome accents. Fully wired & hosed. Hours of fun with styrene! CT
