I had a couple of different 90s issues of this kit and there were some unidentified odd extra parts including a centre steering instrument panel and a small windscreen. Thanks to the wonderful Drastic Plastics website (link below) I was able to find out their origin: old Trophy Series issues. The Lindberg 32 Hot Rod kit had the required decals so I managed to produce a combination of two Trophy kits. The windscreen was unusable so used it for a pattern cut from acetate. Unfortunately the canvas 'cockpit' cover wasn't there so I made a pair from umbrella nylon. Anything else required came from the spares box. Anyway, pretty happy with the result. Let me know what you think. Drastic Plastics link: https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/

Started on this for an Instagram Buildoff, been a slow start but luckily this is going to be a curbside build. So far I’ve spent the most time in cleaning up the body, scribing, removing some mold lines, blocking out some flash lines. I think I’ve got the height where I want it, adapted some loweridermodelcarparts 13inch wires set in. Have some ideas for the interior and paint scheme, see how it all goes!

Good morning all, here is 59 Impala built by my pops about 15 years ago, some fitting issues but overall came out really nice. GM Red and white top, Sikkens paint and clear, lowered with chrome reverse wheels, otherwise mostly built from the kit itself

Started working on an AMT 53 Ford Pickup about a week ago, have seen a lot of nice builds and always wanted to get one going. Doing all the basics right now, soaked the body and main parts in some dawn and water, scrubbed the stuff down, scribed out the doors, vent and windshield. Removed the door handles, locks and filling in the gas filling area. Also smoothed out the running boards, have them glazed with some Evercoat at the moment. Looking at the chassis and stance at the moment, started assembling the engine. My goal is build a nice 60's style cruiser out of this. I've also been posting a bit more on my Instagram, if anyone is there feel free to drop in at qstick99

saw this one on the net, and knew I had to use it for inspiration. wont be an exactl replica, I just liked the different twist on your normal Camaro. started by making lowered spindles and narrowing the rear a bit to mount the Pegasus wheels I got. initial stance, I think this could work well, the rear will probably come up a tad. Just going for a quicker clean build on this one. Taking a break after finishing the Mustang. Thanks for looking
