Scale I Build

Found 3 results

  1. Tamiya 1999 Subaru WRX WRC car repurposed as a Victorian (Australian state) Police high speed pursuit vehicle. Built as a slammer with blacked out glass and no engine. The kit's rally tyres were swapped out for treaded road tyres. The light bar was homemade with clear acetate droop molded over a wooden buck heated in the kitchen oven with a brass base and chrome spruce pieces inside to represent the lights. Tamiya clear red and blue finish it off. Homemade Police decals and side strips. Added stretched spruce and acupuncture needle antennas plus a scrap sprue speed detection unit. Rattle can white finish and homemade custom number plates that give a nod to the rally car's major sponsor "555".
  2. Fujimi base kit. Scalefinishes Corvette atomic orange paint. Aoshima Zeit wheels with Buckey Scale Auto Parts tires. Edouard photo etch seat belt. Fujimi muffler. Far from perfect but after 6 years, it's finally done. Thanks for looking I had to do some work to get things to fit right. Thanks for looking.
