metalhead Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Very nice! Is this a full detail kit with a metal body? I might have to pick up a couple of these.
SterlingStang13 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Looking forward to seeing more of this build! I've been looking for some pictures of this for a while. Does the engine come as separate parts, or is it all one piece?
kelson Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I have this kit coming in the mail tomorrow, was thinking about stripping it and repainting as well, how are the mold lines on the body and parts?
Codi Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Hey Jeremy, I'll be watching you build. I have no doubt you'll make the club and your dad proud. Great subject too! Cheers, Tim
Jaguar man 21 Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) Thanks guys, it's not a metal body its plastic, the motor is separate pieces but the heads, oil filter and botom the transmission are not separate parts like they are in the 2013 302 kit, as for the mold lines there are a few but there nothing a sharp knife could not fix, the worst were just bellow the two rear windows Edited March 16, 2015 by Jaguar man 21
Twokidsnosleep Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) Looking forward to following along on this Edited April 1, 2015 by Twokidsnosleep
Jaguar man 21 Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) A few update photos i also wanted to say that this kit does have metal axles so it has very basic rear suspension which is molded in place and the front axle goes through the motor so there's quite a noticeable hole in the engine block Edited March 17, 2015 by Jaguar man 21
