Brianl Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I had a box full of chrome bits & pieces... enough to do a whole chassis & running gear. I was originally going to put a C Cab on it but couldn't make it work so I came up with this thing. Its the front bit of a T Tourer & the tank from a sprint car. Best I could think of at the time. I think I was inspired by those early hot rod show cars from the late 50's early 60's. It was a fun build whatever it turned out like! Brian
Snake45 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Fantastic body work. What was your chrome question ? I took it that that's the name of the car.
1930fordpickup Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Looks fantastic . Great idea, you may have started something.
bobthehobbyguy Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Cool project. Looks like the framr from the amt parts pack with a different front end. Great job on the body. Cool idea for all chrome chassis.
Silver Foxx Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Nice work Brian , great to see you using up all the leftover bits , looks awesome .
Codi Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 WOW, what a cool original design Brian. From every angle it just looks right to my eye and made me look at it several times to truly appreciate what you made. Bet you were pleased with how this one turned out. Congrats. Tim
wayne swayze Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Now that's very cool! I love the front axle pulled out to stretch the car. Very neat idea on the whole build!
