migace Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Built from those wonderful build your own Promos that were out for a short time in the 70's. I always thought James Garner should have picked the Trans Am or even a Formula instead of the Esprit trim. So here is a what if car. hjracing Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Great build! This car bring me back so good memories!
Bob Ellis Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 They probably didn't use a Trans Am because as a private detective, he wanted to appear subtle, or blend in?
Mutato Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Love it! I also made a "Rockford Files" firebird out of my 1976 Formula model. It started out as the yellow with black when I built it back in the early 80's. Then the cat knocked it of the shelf and it broke apart into pieces. So I decided to repaint and rebuild.
