Anyboy built one of these Fire Truck?

Hey Gang,

I was wondering if anyone of you guys build one of these Fire Trucks, if so what do you thnk about it? I am thinking about purchasing one but since it ain't cheap I thought I ask to see if they are worth paying the high price tag. TIA

I like the " working " diorama. The water coming from the hose was a nice touch. That appears to be a really cool kit, even if it is a European truck.

I have one I started some time ago, and another still in the box. I was going to modify one to a mechanics/ riggers truck for a crane erection crew.

But the model is well done and as you can see. There is a lot of room for creativity.I may juts build the other one out of box.

I just joined here a month or so ago. So I don't have any build threads going on. And I started that kit some time back . I do have some old b uild posted in the under glass section.

I am in the process of painting cabin ets and shelving units. In order to sort out all my models and parts and stuff.. It will ,ost likely be the end of April before I am ready to work on a model again.

But that kit is if I remember correctly well molded and the fit of the parts is pretty good. lots of room for detailing. As eveidenced by that video. Depending on what color you want to paint. The red plastic may be a problem.
