andrewwilliams Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Am a long time armor modeler, having my first go at a car. I chose Fujimi's 24th scale F-40. Is there easy to mask the window frames?
Hemified71 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 If I'm not mistaken there is a pre-cut, ready to mask set available by Hobby Design. Search EBay for Ferrari F40 mask, in the toys/hobby catergory ??

Hemified71 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 They are masks for the windows... Once placed in the correct spots you can paint around them & not get paint on the clear area of the window.

sjordan2 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Here's a good tutorial on the subject by an accomplished Ferrari modeler. Many other good tutorials there as well. http://www.italianhorses.net/Tutorials/Window%20Masks/masks.htm You may want to spend some time looking around his website -- www.italianhorses.net Here's how he built a Tamiya F40... http://italianhorses.net/Gallery/Tamiya/TamF40Stradale/F40.htm
