Dave Van Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Are those bodies available??? Joe Frasson ran one too.....I was at the track the day Joe beat it with the drive shaft!! Excellent work BTW!!!
yellowsportwagon Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 Dave I got this from Doctor Larry on this board. Contact him I know he was doing other year Grand Am bodies also. The one Joe Frasson beat up I am pretty sure was A 1974 with the five grille slots per side.TimPS do you still offer the Henley Gray add on decal set for the Model King 1971 Thunderbird ?
disabled modeler Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 That is awesome looking! I grew up with the big Pontiacs in the family and love them...we owned some nice ones be nice to be able to build replicas of them.
DoctorLarry Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 I have 73 Grand Am, 74/75 Grand Am, 77 Can Am (which could be built as a LeMans) and 77 Leans 4 door sedan (the "Smokey" car). I also have a kit to make a 73 GTO/Lemans with the GA and interior kits for all but the sedan (console, dash, bucket seats, door panels, tub) if you want to build a stocker. They are gravity cast from hand made prototypes I built and I do them when I get some spare time. I am finishing a 76 Grand Prix to cast soon with interior kit as well (dash, console, buckets, door panels, rear tub).
Greg Wann Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Hi Larry, Those look really good. What is gravity cast? Do you pressure cast these?
Mark Haynes Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Wow, I love it. Great Work. I would love to do a Can Am and H.B. Baileys old NASCAR Grand American Series Firebird. I am a Pontiac guy.
