Sixties Sam Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Hey, guys! Here is a Revell 32 Ford coupe I just finished. It's mostly out of the box with a few mods: the body is channeled over the frame rails, removed stock fuel tank, hinged the trunk lid and made an interior for the trunk, and I used a pair of parts box seats instead of the kit bench seat. Engine is from the kit with plug wires added. Paint is Krylon almond and Testors gloss red. Flocking applied to interior floor and trunk interior. The only color I had was purple, so I shot it with flat black after I applied it - it worked! The model reminds me of a bunch of AMT 32's I built in the 1960's, but it's a better kit! Comments welcome. Oops, I added the radiator hoses after the pics were taken. And, yes Harry, I forgot the mirror!
TheGrandfatherHobbies Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Very nice!! Like the hemi and flocked trunk!!
wayne swayze Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 The almond and red work well together IMO. You're tempting me to get out a 5 window, but I have too many projects going. But your nice build has me inspired.
smellyfatdude Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Nice coupe! I'm just wondering why the dude in brown looks like Denis Leary, with a green face.
