ChrisBcritter Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Sweet build, love the color combo! Just picked this kit up as well and recently opened it and realized mine has no exhaust manifolds or headers for the block was yours the same way? Yes, the exhaust manifolds and crossover are molded to the engine block and you're on your own from there to the exhaust pipe. It's not too visible when installed, fortunately. I went with duals (second one cut from a spare chassis and modified) and bent some copper wire to go from the manifolds to the pipes. Not totally perfect but pretty good.

I ended up going into my parts box and found some headers that fit so I'll use those and attach it to some aluminum tubing and make a side exit right behind the door.
crazyrichard Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 love it , very cool ... too bad that without clear the decal edge shows ,, takes away from the reaism in the pictures (not ment in a bad way) .. other then that just love it
Anderson_15_ Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) Love it. Everything looks sick and original at the same time. Been wanting to do one too. Cream over Root beer? One question, where did those white walls come from? I put them on everything but i'm not sure where to get them from Edited June 23, 2015 by Anderson_15_

mustang1989 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 That's a great job on that truck there Joel!! Nice work on the wood and the bed flooring!
Anderson_15_ Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 (edited) Ok thought so. but check this out if you haven't yet. It's a forum for painting white walls and the result is extremely impressive http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86149&hl=%2Bpainting+%2Bwide+%2Bwhite+%2Bwalls A lot cheaper then 10 bucks a set. more time consuming but worth it Edited June 24, 2015 by Anderson_15_
