microwheel Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) I've been looking at eight stack injection systems and desided that the manifold in the AWB kits are not correct. They direct the flow into the lifter galley, not angled into the cylinder head. So going to try and fab one up. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg Can't wait to see how these look finished Edited May 2, 2015 by microwheel
jeff f Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 Got a little more done in the past few days. Whittled out the valve covers, still need to finish the breathers. Still have a year till Model Car Sunday. Thanks. Jeff.
Speedfreak Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Awesome work Jeff, the stacks on the engine are killer.
jeff f Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Thank you all for your kind words. I'm going with the Revell 55 TS chassis in order to get the rear low enuff. Thanks Jeff .

Jeremy Jon Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Fantastic workmanship Jeff, and love that splayed trumpeted intake, Awesome!!
jeff f Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Now that the bigger toys are put away , I can get some serious stuff done. Have a mock up done with a 55 TS chassis . Back may be a tad high but I like the rake . Also have more room under the big cowl hood , so I'll make taller stacks , oh thier made from 3/32 tube . Thanks for looking in. Jeff
horsepower Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Just my taste, but I liked the original wheel centers better. What are the wheel rings themselves done in, I assume it's your own work? Love your concept, show us some more on using that chassis and the changes you had to make.

Ridgeback Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 If the rest of the build is anything like the engine, this is going to be killer!
