exesivefire Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Down to finish work for the trim.. 1
Superpeterbilt Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I just found this thread, and WOW! I like what I see. Great work, great concept. The cool thing about a great custom model idea is when it's brought to fruition by top notch building. I'll be following from now on.
exesivefire Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Thanks guys, this one is a lot of fun.
Petetrucker07 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Got dang. I'm really liking this. I've been wondering what aftermarket tires would fit the Moebius wheels, now I know. Great work. The trim is lookin awesome. Outstanding so far.

misterNNL Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Like I said at the NNL,I think this would make a great mobile model shop. You could line the walls with shelves filled with scale model kit boxes. The outside is going to be a great space for some killer graphics. It's "hip to be square".Quick.....somebody should write that line down...it would make a great song title!
exesivefire Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 I'm really thinking of embracing the "uhaul in a past life" theme.might be a tow rig of some sorts but that's down the line.
misterNNL Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Any updates? It's been a long time since I saw this in person the Toledo NNL Nationals!!
exesivefire Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 None yet, kinda got stuck on the rear door and put it aside for a bit, it's on my "finish over winter" list
Davewilly Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 looks pretty good so far..Its coming along nicely
Canso65 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Cool idea Andy.You're doing some great work here.Rob
kilrathy10 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 This is a good project, Man.....Looking awesome....
Darren B Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 this thing is insane, I love that u haul box, very artistic!!!
Darren B Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Time to change gears and get a power-plant for this thing. I am robbing the LS based engine and transmission from the Revell SSR kit. That could have been cool as is, but.... Well I will let the pictures do the talking. Roots style blower seems a lot more fun, I am really happy with how it came out. wow that is totally insane, love the scratch building going on here....
iamsuperdan Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I think this my favourite build around here at the moment.
1930fordpickup Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Andy have ever seen the rollup calendars that they have at the Chinese restaurants? This may work for the door.
exesivefire Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 I've figured out a few ways I "could" do the door. What I'm challenging myself with is deciding if it's worth the trouble. Once the model is finished how am I likely to have it displayed? Opening and closing is a novelty at that point, and I'm debating if it's nessisary.
Darren B Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I think this my favourite build around here at the moment. mine too
