`56 Heavy Chevy

ok, my second post on this forum :-)

maybe someone can help me. I found this picture of an `56 Chevy in a 1976 Hot Rod magazine. Owner is/was Frank Schmid of Milford, Ohio.

I searched the internet, but couldn´t find any further infos to this car. All I have is this b/w picture. Any hint where to look or maybe someone you know has more info about this car.

Looks to be in a major car show. Did you search for the actual show? The article should say where/when the pic was taken so searching the actual function may turn something up.

Picture is scanned from the `76 edition of the Hot Rod Show World. I looked through it, but I think it covers all major shows 1976 in western USA. Its not stated where the above photo was taken..
