thejunkman Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 (edited) I know others around the "net" have used the Dukes of Hazzard and the General Lee as subject matter but almost always with the General pre or mid flight OR the aftermath of a jump as the car was left to rot. Those are all really cool, but I couldn't find a "moment of impact" type of representation. I went for that and then added the cameras to create even more of a story around the diorama. The whole story can be found at this link My General Lee charger diorama I am not going to type it all out here (it is lengthy but a good read) waaay more pictures there than I can post here. Anyways this previously built and falling apart model just about found its way into the trash. Here is the end result. Hope you like and share it around. Mind you I have never built anything like this, its my first attempt so be kind. The inspiration The result View from Camera 1 view from Camera 2 (mounted to the car) Not sure who was filming who here Edited July 19, 2015 by thejunkman

ranma Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Looks good, But one burning question. Where is Bo and Luke? (stuntmen) and the film crew.
thejunkman Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 This was a trash can project, meaning made from supplies and things I was going to throw in the trash. Looks good, But one burning question. Where is Bo and Luke? (stuntmen) and the film crew.I was not going to spend the time to whittle out some 1/25 figures.
thejunkman Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Thanks, this was a fun and quick build. I will now sit on display in my garage shelves.
