Jeepxj Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Just a few pix of an HO scale diorama of my old neighborhood in my hometown of Queens NY.(circa)1970s
Mark B Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Well it does have cars in it, so I don't see why not! And its great!
Jim B Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Very nice job! In a couple of those shots I wasn't sure if I was looking at the diorama or the actual neighborhood for a second. Then the cups in the background tipped me off. Excellent work.
72 Charger Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 That's cool But It looks like a tough neighborhood
uncle potts Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) I think they count, heres mine..... Edited August 17, 2015 by uncle potts
landman Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 That front porch almost looks like Archie Bunker's.
wayne swayze Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Well done! The leaves on the roof top really brings it more to life!

DR JAY Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Very Nice. I have to admit that my favourite part was the blue Aspen Kit Car.
426-Hemi Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 The magic of 1/87th........ -No trains tho..............
Tom Geiger Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I like it! HO scale is neat for this type of work and there are so many resources... kits, parts, aftermarket available for the railroad hobby. I love scale architecture and find myself admiring the old Victorian home kits. And can you imagine how much space that would take up in 1/25 scale?? Here's as much as I did in HO and dioramas! I found this used car lot kit at a hobby shop many years ago, even before I was seriously building model cars again. I liked it enough to quickly build it and put on my shelf.
