This was pretty much just a quick weekend buildup of the kit as the channeled version. I did deviate from box stock by adding a '48 Flathead with Eddie Meyer parts from Replicas and Miniatures, and a chopped '37 Ford truck grille. I went with the teardrop taillights because they matched the shape of the Eddie Meyer air cleaner. Next one I build is going to sit a lot lower, but other than that I can't gripe about the kit itself too much.

Chuck IIRC you are not too far away from Toledo/Sylvania....if possible, bring your '29A to our "Traditional Hot Rods" Cult Theme display at the NNL Nats in a couple of weeks!   Cheers...TIm

Another typical Chuck Most model...

and that's a good thing! B)

Everything looks great, but I especially like the wheels. What did you use to detail them? They look very realistic. Black wash, I assume, but anything special? The Detailer? Thinned black paint?

Wow Chuck. I have a hard time getting parts prepped in a weekend, not to mention paint and assemblage.

Le engine d' vroom vroom es magnifique' !! Since we can't swear here, I'll just use French.

This is a killer patina-rod! I love all of the coloring and texturing. I also love that it looks worn and weathered and not totally rotted out. This is exactly the kind of hot rod I would drive around.

It also reminds me a lot of my friend Frank Barone's '29 Roadster that he's been driving around for a decade or more!
