I have a question Dave. Where do you keep all of this large scale stuff? Do you have a basement full of these on shelves? OK...I guess that's two questions.

Dave... So happy that the parts arrived and that you are happy with them. You are more than welcome for me to draw them up and have printed. You have helped me out so much in the background of the Funny Car with many questions that I have asked and as well as information for a future Dragster build. It's the least I can do to try and return the favor. Which I can't thank you enough for taking the time and helping out with information. Looking forward to seeing the linkages on the Carbs but after your stuff to the '39 is done ;).

John and Brad.... Thanks Brother!

just looked thru all posts of this build...incredible!!  ive modelled for 46 years and honestly thought I was a slightly above average builder...until I saw this.  I now realize that I should only be allowed to play with plastic toy cars.:)

Calling all cars, calling all cars, be on the look out for a nasty 37' Chevy that isn't street legal (yet) that has been terrorizing the neighborhood.  Your job is to arrest him and cuff him to his workbench and leave him there until he does something on this dragster build.   He gets 3 hots and a cot a day plus 2 Sailor Jerry cocktails until his "community service" is fulfilled.   CHEERS, Tim

Here...here. Although I don't think he'll be out terrorizing our streets out west but I will be on the look out.

sorry for being so late to respond. i hope my excuse makes it forgivable.

jeff, that is one heck of a compliment.....thank you.

tim, ....tell mugsy, it's 3 knocks,1 bang and 3 knocks and i'll open the door for him!  don't bother with the 3 hots........just bring the salior jerry!!!!  i promise i'll get there (the work bench) soon!!!

brad, i will (unfortunately) have to agree with you. i don't think i'll be terrorizing any streets in arizona. i wish i could get out there to see all of my friends out west, though. that would be COOL! i think you'd get a kick out of goin' for a ride!
