TooOld Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Something a bit different this time . It's a Deal's Wheels Super Spurt with engine , wheels , and tires from a diecast . I added front and rear spoilers , and windows installed with tiny rivets . It's Painted Tamiya Pure White and I made my own decals . I hope you like it ! This is the original box art . I actually started with an incomplete reboxed Funster . Edited February 13, 2020 by TooOld

Scott Colmer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 That is awesome! I always enjoy a Deals Wheel upgrade. This one is perfect!
Harry P. Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 That's pretty cute! But if it was mine, i'd add some detail painting on the front and rear ends. It looks sort of unfinished all white like that.

Ferbz Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I really dig it! I went to an NNL West some years ago and someone brought a handful of those Deals Wheels cars modified and detailed similar to yours. They inspired me to do one and seeing yours is putting me over the top about the idea!
Twokidsnosleep Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) Love it, great imagination and execution. Photography is spot on as wellSome fine scratch building...window sills, engine, wheels, rollcage they all go perfectly Must be the kid in me, drawn to these cartoon cars, have a couple in my stash...hard to find and expensive! Hope they reissue more versions Edited November 11, 2015 by Twokidsnosleep
