Jon Haigwood Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I am building a 2013 Challenger with some front and rear body mods. I have been thinking about adding some fender flares. Not sure if I want to go there yet. Thought I would see what the general opinion was on them or "wide body" mods.
CapSat 6 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Wow! I like the ones on the purple car. They look Old School- and while Old School stuff doesn't usually work on new Challengers, those seem to. Do you have more pics of the purple one?
Jon Haigwood Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 only found these . I am not a fan of the wheels and would go a different route
Joe Handley Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) I like the ones on the purple one, another one to look at is the set from Liberty Walk, not a fan of their supercar stuff, but their Challenger ones look fantastic! Here's what the Liberty Walk kit looks like on an airbagged Hellcat Challenger. Were it mine, I'd probably do it to a used R/T or SRT with a little bit smaller diameter rim, a tire with a bit more sidewall, and maybe some sort of mild drop or coilovers. A little too much for me but thanks for the response
Joe Handley Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 This is weird, Chrysler built this for SEMA this year and is exactly what I thought of with that Liberty Walk kit, minus the T/A hood I failed to mention.

This one looks better to me - where the front flares merge into the front splitter. The Liberty Walk kit seems to miss that completely.

Those may actually be easier to add then the small ones are.
DeeCee Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I did mine this way, slit the top of the rear fender and pumped it, then added a wider panel, it was extreme, for very wide rims, so one or the other would work.
Jeremy Jon Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Nice build Dale !!Agreed with mild fender flares looking better, the LBW are too extreme IMO
