I had some leftover paint from my recent Bantam Fuel Altered build so I decided to create a support vehicle based on the Jimmy Flintstone phantom body.  The engine/transmission is a 289 from the parts box, the driveshaft is aluminium tubing and the exhaust from the mufflers to the rear is styrene rod.  The rest of the parts will be from the Revell Thunderbolt kit, with the teardrop scoop removed from the bonnet (hood) and Pegasus Astro Supremes/tyres.  This is how it looks so far:

Looks great so far! What size is the aluminum tubing for the driveshaft? It looks like a nice touch.

Thanks guys.  The tubing is 1/8" in diameter, Michael.

Thanks for the feedback guys.  Slow progress, but the chassis is completed and I've made a start on the BMF.  I'll be using a black decal to fill in the side trim.
