gerdog Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 Nice to build, but I found kind of fiddely at times.
disabled modeler Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Nice build...doe not look to be too far off from being able to build a large scale rail dragster from.
PatW Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Looks good Gerry, another I have on the shelf that I haven't yet got around to building!
skymnky721 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Looks great! Ive wanted one of these for quite a while,,havent seen too many out there,,nice job. Wonder what would happen if it were turned into a dragster,,or some type of bizzare fuel altered? With a giant wing on the back? I can only dream I guess,,nice job there
gerdog Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 If you have this kit it is a decent build. Though you can't see it, I used brass wire and added runners to the skis.Yes, I have considered getting another one of these and attempting a pavement rail dragster. Problem is, I already have way too many kits to finish. Also, I am so slow in completing a kit. I started the sno dragster about 5 years ago. Then it sat and sat, 'til one day I decided to finish.I am currently working on a Revell Mach III 500 Kawasaki that I have had since probably 1985. Started engine ass'y, then it sat and sat 'til about two weeks ago.Probably will finish within two weeks.
vintagercr Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I built one as a kid. I have one in my stash, will have to haul it out. Looks good.
