While sipping a cup of coffee and nibbling on my customary morning danish I stumbled across this article that I thought I`d share with all the Bow-tie enthusiast out there. What I accidentally found was a fully restored 1969 Baldwin Motion Camaro SS 454 LS-7. Yep..I said 4-5-4 cid. This is not a clone, tribute or fantasy car. It`s the real deal..documented.. bona ified `69 Camaro Baldwin Motion 454 car. It was ordered in early 1970 directly from Bladwin Motion. I`ve only seen and heard of the `69  ZL-1 427 Camaro`s; had no idea that a `69 LS-7 Baldwin Camaro existed. But, in truth  I should not have found this totally unbelievable. After all back in the day Baldwin Motion was one of the handful of Chevy dealerships that were notorious for building wild custom ordered cars for their clientele if you had the $$$.

For those that would like to know more about this ultra rare `69 Baldwin Camaro I`ve included a link:

Who knows maybe this rare gem will be the  inspiration for a build.

This Daytona Yellow `69 Baldwin Camaro LS-7 454 was outfitted fitted with desirable Winters Foundry aluminum heads and Winters Foundry dual plane aluminum intake manifold. The Motion performance options ordered from new go on from there including:

-850 CFM carb

-Phase III cam

-Ducted Hood

-4.88 heavy duty rear axle

-Complete Schiefer clutch assembly

-Deep oil pan with baffle and up rated pump

-Traction bars and shocks

-Dual electric fuel pump

-Scatter Shield

-Engine shut off

-Air spoiler

-Motion phase III CD ignition

The '69 C-10 and the "55 Apache 4x4 sound interesting. The Edsel is definitely an acquired taste for sure. I would check with as many reliable sources as you can on the Camaro. As I understand it there are many people that are very good at recreating a Motion Camaros out of a standard old Camaro.

you're right about the Camaro for your son. Be sure to look for rust in all the usual places and under the front and rear window especially as that seems to be one of the first places they go even in dry climates. The Edsel looks like it might be in good shape, if someone would just show it some love. The 4X4 looks like it could be a '58 or later. If the hood has a big dip thru the center and you have four headlights then it would be a '58 or newer body. This all looks like a great find for someone looking for a real project to work on. Is that a square eyed Jeep behind the Camaro ? It looks nice and shiny anyway. It looks like a Mercury Cougar next to the Jeep, if you like Fords that might be another thought for your son.

Dan I hope the car is what you think it is.  I like the fact that it is not a split bumper car. My buddy has a 701/2 Z28 all redone. I liked his 69 better but it is his money.

If you could get us some better pictures of the Edsel and the Buss that would be cool.

The "32" on the fender badge is the giveaway. The model 32, or for the full model number in this case, 3204, is the long bed 1/2 ton. A factory short bed would say "31" on the badge.
