mrindy77 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 This black little beauty is a 1/43 scale BBR Ferrari 750 Monza that raced in the 1954 Carrera Panamericana, driven by Alfonso de Portago. BBR makes some very nice 43rd scale subjects and they are well engineered. Straight black lacquer as smooth as a babies bottom. I build a couple of Carrera Panamericana subjects for my brother as Christmas presents every year. He's amassing a nice themed collection.
Phirewriter Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 If you haven't considered building 1/43 scale before, I highly recommend trying at least one. Starter, BBR, Marsh Models to name a few are high quality kits and provide a wide range of subject matter. When done they are little jewels asĀ Cal's beautifulĀ build shows.
Silver Foxx Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Nice work on this , I like the 1/43 kits , I have a number of 1/43 Starter kits to do .
Belugawrx Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I really like that Cal !Nice looking buildCheers
MrObsessive Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Simply beautiful! I've built a few 1/43's in the past, and they can be great slump busters! I like 'em also because they don't take up near as much space as the 1/24-25th builds. Not to mention as Michael said, there are simply cars that you'll only find in 1/43------there's a much better selection in that scale than in any other!
Bernard Kron Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) A beautiful car beautifully done/ Your brother is a lucky man. What's been said about the variety in 1/43rd is certainly true. I am sorely tempted... Edited December 25, 2015 by Bernard Kron
