Mac Q. Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) About a week ago I started working on a wood model of a 403 Bristol Bulldog F2B. I have made the fuselage and motor, but nothing else yet. Edited January 9, 2016 by Mac Q.
Mac Q. Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 I thought I would post a few pictures of my progress:
Mac Q. Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) I have finished this model out. I messed up on the tail, but otherwise its pretty good. You can see my review of it on my blog (link in sig). Edited January 9, 2016 by Mac Q.
Aaronw Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) That is pretty neat. I've not seen kits like that but I made up a couple of biplanes for my son when he was about 3. I built them toddler resistant though so they were a bit more burly, and a little less detailed. It's nice to see somebody building a wood model. By the time I finished buying the tools to do these I probably could have bought him one he could ride in. He is 15 now and still has them more or less intact, so I guess they were toddler tough. Mac Q. Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 It was a fun model to do. I would like to see more people doing wood models also.
