I watched the episode of Fast & Loud where Dennis goes and buys the Corvette Summer car.   I don't know when it aired, I had it on my DVR.  I immediately noticed that the car was left hand drive!   They said there were two cars built,  this one and one that "some guy in Australia" owns.  No mention at all of the differences!

So does anyone know the validity of this car?  How was it used in the movie if the steering wheel was on the wrong side?

I did see it and found this. [[[ [.Inside, drive and steering were transferred to the righthand side in order to get the star within pinching reach of the hot chicks on the sidewalk. Most of the lefthand steering column was retained, but a chain and a pair of Harley-Davidson motorcycle sprockets tie the two columns together.]]]  http://www.superchevy.com/features/corp-0801-1973-chevrolet-corvette-summer-movie-car/

The "Corvette Summer" on Fast and Loud is so fake it's 100 miles from close. First off is has stock tail lights. Second, as mentioned above, it's left hand drive. Both film cars were right hand drive. The one in Australia was sunk on a barge. It was restored but not to movie specs. The other movie car was in the Corvette museum in Cooperstown NY for a number of years. Then sold to Mid America Corvette. It was recently sold to a private collector, but not the Bozo that was on the show. There were a list of things wrong with the car they bought. I still can't believe they bought it. Their credibility went down in my book.

Yer Tom , i remember seeing the car here in parramatta at a car yard and thought it was a copy but the yard man told me it was the real deal . That would have been about 30 years ago but never saw it again .

If I remember right they said in the episode that it wasn't the movie car, it was a promotional car used during the movie premier and other promotions.
