That's seems too obvious to get into final production.

hmmm .. a 1/16 Isetta ... I might even have shelf space for that

Not making it 1/24 will cost them a lot of sales.

I agree. At the same time, doesn't somebody offer this car in a 1/24th scale kit already? If not. I can't imagine how that one has gotten passed over all of these years.

I remember a neighbor kid back in the early 60's having a plastic toy, complete with a opening door, of this car. Even then I knew of the real car. And have always thought it cool.

Gunze Sangyo used to make one, they come up from time to time on eBay, but they end up going for silly money

Gunze Sangyo made a very crude and ill proportioned 1/24 kit, which had only three wheels.
Three-wheeled Isettas were only built for export to the UK, where threewheelers enjoyed a tax benefit and
could be driven with a motorcycle licence.

I hope Revell does the reverse process it did with the Samba Bus and follows up with a scaled down version.
Then again, it's Revell, so the lower I keep my expectations, the less I will be disappointed...

Ironically, Revell made a very nice 1/18 diecast for many years in many liveries, which makes an ill-windshielded
(unless they fix it for production) 1/16 kit seem even more redundant.
