Shelbytona Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 just finished up this model last night. Went together perfectly! This weekend when I'm home during daylight hours I'll take some better pics.
Helix Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Nice one Randy, yes it is a nice kit, I painted mine sublime green
lghtngyello03 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Looks awesome finally put together. I've been following your build. Turned out great!
Shelbytona Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 Thanks guys! I found some Good Year polyglass decals so I'm gonna put them on the tires later tonight.. They're from the Revell Ford Talladega kit (from 1998 when they had branded raised letter tires and made in the USA kits)
Shelbytona Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 Thanks guys! I never got a chance to take some daylight pics yet.. I did put the good year decals on the tires but they were so yellowed from the old decal backing paper that they ended up looking like garbage so I took them off... Any tips on removing the yellowing behind old decals? I started on the Revell 71 Hemi cuda and it's getting the Hemi Orange as well. I'll make a post on it soon!
Roadrunner Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I loves me some '70 Challenger. Looks great.
JTalmage Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Looks good! Also looks like Kowalski got ahold of it and put his plates on it
Shelbytona Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 Thanks guys! Yeah I noticed that with this kit.. It's got the plates from the Vanishing point Challenger.. I wonder why Revell did that, haha
