Sixties Sam
I scratch built a 38 GMC COE car hauler a few weeks ago, which kind of put me in a cabover mood, so I got a 41 Ford resin cab and I'm using it on a scratch built wrecker. I had four truck wheels left over from the GMC build, so I'm using them. The model is curbside, with no chassis or engine details. The bed is from a 67 Chevy pickup, modified with fenders made from a Testors spray paint can lid. The wrecker boom is made from evergreen channel, angle, sheet styrene, and jewelry chain (tedious job!). I plan to finish it as a well worn, rusty, neglected service truck with character!
