Art Laski Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 (edited) Pictures please, please... Bill, I don't have any new progress pics just yet, but here's a pic Brad Norgaard (gasser59) took at the show from the in-progress tables. Edited April 14, 2016 by Art Laski
Art Laski Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) Thanks for looking, guys. Since I missed the DSC deadline, I'm now shooting for the So Cal NNL on May 1st. Here's just a couple of shots of the completed tires. Edited April 22, 2016 by Art Laski
Nytrozilla Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Art, good call on the black valve stems. Rubber stems or a tube would have been right. Chrome or aluminum would have looked out of place.
Mooneyzs Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Art... Those wheels are looking sweet Brother. I can't wait to see more of this build. I know you are in the home stretch.
mod3l Lover Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 That color on there looks so perfect!Again, I can't help but say how beautifulthis car is looking. I just love it! David S.
Art Laski Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 Thanks a lot, guys! I really appreciate all the comments. Here's the dashboard I got done today. I compared it to the kit piece and the real car.
John Teresi Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Art......very nice Brother......EXCELLENT indeed!!!!!!
Mooneyzs Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Art... that dash is gorgeous my friend. Wow what a difference between what you did and the kits dash. You knocked it out of the park. Is the glass in the guages made from the glue I picked up from you at the DSC?
Art Laski Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 John, JC, Mike, Ray, and Chris- Thanks for your comments! I really appreciate you looking in. Art... that dash is gorgeous my friend. Wow what a difference between what you did and the kits dash. You knocked it out of the park. Is the glass in the guages made from the glue I picked up from you at the DSC?Chris, I tried it, but it wasn't working in this case. Because it's water soluble, it was causing the ink on the gauge faces to bleed. I even coated them with Krylon acrylic clear like I usually do with inkjet decals, but it didn't stop it, so I used epoxy instead and it worked great.
