Metallic Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 What a Great paint job!!! One question, what about the decals? Their where applied after clear coat? I Use Tamiya TS-13... I am not sure if the clear coat will damage them
GTJUNIOR Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Looks great. I have the same kit in my stash and I hope that mine turns out as good as this.

Metallic Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 (edited) No Sir, I did not clear over the decals. Never have tried it. I'm a bit scared to try it.... I am afraid too, =)... I'm a bit scared to try it....The decal sheet usually has the kit manufacturers name on it somewhere. Do a spoon paint sample, apply the manufacturer decal as you would on your model, allow it to dry and then apply your intended clear coat. Easiest way to check for any unwanted reaction between the decals and the intended clear. Just a suggestion.
Plastheniker Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Looks perfect & fantastic paintwork!I agree!
