vamach1 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 It was interesting experimenting with parts from the 67GT350, 68GT500 and HRM Shelby kits to build these three. The red one is the old Mini Exotics version I built 25 years ago.
afx Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 That would be one killer garage Rex, having these three sitting in it.
Renegade Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Great stable of Shelby's. I have a fastback waiting in the wings. Hope mine turns out as well as yours.
65slotcar Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 nice job on the shelby's, looks cool with the hub cap style wheels because you don't see them used much.
Bob Ellis Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 How id you flatten the trunks to make a convertible?
vamach1 Posted March 19, 2016 Author Posted March 19, 2016 How id you flatten the trunks to make a convertible? These were resin bodies from Mini Exotics (long out of business) and Historic Racing Miniatures which are available though Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland.
Bob Ellis Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 That figures, the stuff you like is unavailable as time progresses.
Bob Ellis Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 You have a very nice collection. Didn't realize how rare they are.
vamach1 Posted March 20, 2016 Author Posted March 20, 2016 Just to be clear, HRM is in business. Here's a link to images. Dig deep into your pockets - it's $95,
topher5150 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 all that work and I could have just bought the body convertible body
