Crazy Ed Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Hi There Marty. A quick Google look see netted "Also, remember that Mr. Surfacer is laquer-based". Found on the MDP Web Site - http://www.modeldisplayproducts.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=79_80
Miatatom Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I use it to fill small imperfections, Multiple thin coats, maybe 5-7 minutes between them.
Monty Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Most things in the Mr Whatever lines are good quality products, but the Mr Surfacer I bought 10+ years ago only had Japanese instructions on the can. There was nothing in English on the can, nor were there any separate English instructions on paper, so you'll have to rely on trial by error, experienced members on forums like this or YouTube videos to learn how to use it.
Prime Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Lacquer, excellent to brush on seem lines or imperfection. its thick, use it as a filler. If you need to use a primer use Mr. Surfacer 1200. Very strong on fumes, be careful!
