zz top eliminator PROBLEMS

[Bathurst 1000]

HELLO im new to kit set models an the first car i started with is the " ZZ TOP " car

 

1- have broken the front axle putting wheels on....

2 - how dose the front window sit in the chrome frame...

any help would be great

Wow. You picked a pretty challenging kit as your first build. I finished one back in November and as I recall just about every piece had to be sanded to fit right and that includes the window opening, frame and I think I may have even sanded the 'glass' a bit too.

My suggestion is to test fit everything before painting and gluing but looks like you've already painted it.

Some pictures of the broken axle might be helpful in getting suggestions on how to make repairs.
