Metallic Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 (edited) Hello Blog I'm new and first timer on Model Cars Blog, and I will like to share with you my passion for Ferrari Here is a Ferrari F40 1/24 from Tamiya, with Photo Etched parts Edited April 8, 2016 by Metallic
Hubert Rollins Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Very beautiful- my favorite Ferrari by far in all my years of playing racing games.
Dennis Lacy Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Fantastic job! Certainly, my favorite Ferrari of all time and arguably the best performing Ferrari ever made, even almost 30 years later.
GTJUNIOR Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Still one of the purest creations to come out of Maranello. Form following function. This car was designed for one purpose, to go as fast as possible.
Metallic Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 Thank you very much to all members for all the good comments!
Dann Tier Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Love the third picture! -its crazy, but on top of building a countach like you, im also building the 1993 Monte Shell version of this kit as well This kit I will do Box Stock.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 The build quality is awesome!!! Something to be proud of. The car, I always thought to be butt ugly, like all Ferraris, and related supercars/exotics.

I'm into all years of Ford cars, and into 1950's and 1960's full size Fords and Chevrolets. Galaxies, Impalas, Fairlanes, Bel Airs, Mavericks, that's what I love. Never cared much for the supercar type of vehicle. By the way, your building is fenomenal. I looked at your Countach, and the job you did is amazing.

ferrariscale Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 F40 looks awesome. An iconic Ferrari. Did you paint the seats or leave them the color they were (semi-gloss red)?

I paint it, with the same paint that I used for the Body, (with no clear cote) but with airbrush low pressure, to intent to replicate the semi-gloss effect
MrBuick Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Great looking model...the F40 is one of the few Supercars that I actually like...you did a fantastic job on this one!
Toast Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Excellent build! I really like the plumbing you did for the engine.
