Ollie's strike again

The manager has no say in what's carried. Their business model doesn't work like that. If they haven't done any deals for kits, they can't sell what they don't have. Ollie's is a clearinghouse for inventory that has either been bought from defunct businesses or special deals like the Round 2 stuff that was common the past few years.

Big Lots and Party City LOL. I was in my local Ollie's yesterday and they didn't have anything. It was pretty well cleaned out I reckon thanks to Christmas.

Stopped by the local Ollie's looking to see what other toys they got I could grab for the grandson.  They had several signs up that the toys are 33% off but models are excluded.  Looks like the market materials had a better distribution than the models themselves as none of the Atlantis kits made the shelves here!

Big Lots did model dumps years ago. I got the IH Payhauler 350 there years ago for $20 which at the time was just OK

Most likely Not gonna happen as Big Lots did manage to get a buyer, and will have around 400 stores stay open now.

My Ollie's got the Atlantis Spl issue 4 kits. The 1/48 gas tanker, Native American, Space shuttle and ship. I picked up the space ship. Thx

I was near Ollies yesterday morning. They had the same assortment that Dave posted above. I did manage to find a single solitary can of Duplicolor Color match, which surprised me. I hadn't seen any duplicolor there in months!

My local Ollie's Has the gas tanker, Indian Chief, and Cobra II, but they are marked $14.99.

Used to work for Big Lots.  All I can say on their bankruptcy is: BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  Let's just say we didn't part on friendly terms.

1 of 2 local Ollie's near me had this... Had to make a hard pass on the Transit Mixer due to financial since right now 😞 (Marietta Ohio location)

The only kits at our local one is the non selling Atlantis Nike Missle kit. The have a bunch of Lousy Puzzles and board games  that take 90% of the shelf space on one side of the toy isle.
